Thanks!
I just wanted to take the time to thank everyone that quite successfully surprised me this past Saturday. I really thought I’d be able to see a surprise party coming, but I was wrong. Special thanks have to go to the wife, for pulling the whole thing off while quite pregnant! I also have to say that I’m sorry that part of the setup for the party resulted in Keith breaking his arm in two places, although I take no responsibility for his decision making once on the slopes. I have to say though, it really made it seem like skiing that day (to get me out of the house) was my idea once the original suggester (Keith) was no longer going. You can read about Keith’s saga on his blog.
On a completely different note, you may be wondering what has bumped Lew’s Lunch down a notch over there on the right. Well, they’re my most recent “tweets”. That’s right. I may be (almost) 30, but I’m still “hip”. If you don’t know what Twitter is, you can check it out here. Do I really think people need to know “what I’m going right now” all the time? Probably not. They also don’t need to know what I’ve had for lunch, but that’s here (occasionally). So, in short, maybe I’ll be a little better about streaming in some really short messages, since the longer ones (these posts) are few and far between these days. As well, it might be fun to stream in a little narrative on the big day come late April/early May, and give the interested parties somewhere to go for updates. It will probably save me a lot of text messaging. (Don’t worry Moms & Dads, we’ll still call you.)

Time for some math (results rounded for human consumption)! That means I've driven the car just shy of 35 miles a day on average for almost 8 yea... 100,000 Miles on the WRX!](http://cdn.goettner.net/wp-content/uploads/2010/03/IMG_01921-300x279.jpg)
