One month in.
Just a few observations a month into parenthood:
- If it weren’t for digital cameras, we’d have probably spent a 2nd mortgage worth of money on film by now. Thank you technology.
- Things you can safely add to the list of stuff that washes right off microfiber: milk, puke, poop.
- Comcast replays all the days Philly sports games through the dead of night. Very nice. You can only watch so much of the endless SportsCenter loops.
- Also sports related: not tired baby = I’ve pretty much seen every game of the NBA and NHL playoffs. She’s either going to be a huge sports fan, or be absolutely sick of them by the time she can work the remote.
- There’s something wrong with you if you think taking the placenta home is a good idea. Something seriously wrong with you if you want to take it home to eat it. I saw it in the hospital, I liken it to a bloody jellyfish on a string, and that will be the extent of my involvement with that thing.
